Natasha Medlar presents the fifth of our TRUTH Series; the focus of the fifth segment being discussing Mental Health. In this segment we will hear from numerous diverse, empowering people who will each share their own personal stories on their journey in battling Mental Health. I pray this segment inspires and empowers many people whom come across it and that it also helps give strength to those facing the same or a similar obstacle at present.
“My intentions for all various segments of the TRUTH series is to educate others who may not be aware of such issues, whether it’s because it has never been a challenge they themselves have faced, to educate those whom are aware but choose to ignore the issue/s and lastly to help encourage others in being brave in speaking out. As we know, knowledge is key.” – Natasha
I would like to introduce you to our 3rd guest for this segment; Emily. Emily Ballard is a transformation Coach and Masters-level Therapist who works with people to process and move the long-trapped emotional blocks that keep them from living full lives of integrity. ”I’m also an able-bodied, educated, white woman from New England, and I possess a fuck ton of privilege as a result. I’m actively learning about how to become a less harmful white person, and have been humbled to learn about and confront the damage whiteness causes”. Emily is extremely passionate on supporting the creation of lasting social change via the tools of deep compassion and the relentless pursuit of the truth — especially when that truth is both uncomfortable and unpopular.
